Sequential read comparison: A93 at up to 7,400 MB/s versus a SATA SSD rated at 530 MB/s. Actual performance may vary. Make sure that your computer has a M.2 slot. According to our inside test by CrystalDiskMark software, read/write speed depend on the device, interface, usage and other factors so that actual performance may be lower.
Limited warranty based on 5 years or “Percentage Used” which can be found using CrystalDiskInfo. Please check Warranty Policy for more information.

Performance & Thermal Notes

  • Over 20% Improved Heat Dissipation: As described in CdrInfo’s A93 review; results vary by operating conditions.

  • Interface: PCIe Gen4 x4 is required to approach the advertised maximum speeds. Compatible Gen3 systems operate at lower interface speeds.

  • Workload: Results vary with test settings, available SLC cache, free space, and background activity.

  • Cooling: Operating temperature depends on workload, ambient temperature, and airflow. Thermal throttling may occur under sustained heavy workloads.

  • Speed ratings: All advertised speeds are maximum values and are not guaranteed across all capacities or operating conditions.

Tom’s Hardware — addlink A93 SSD review

"Addlink A93 SSD Review: 4TB of Performance for Your PS5

Addlink adds a nice heatsink to a fast budget SSD. The A93 is a solid all-around drive, and is affordable to boot. The heatsink makes it a good value. It’s a great choice for a desktop or a PS5."

TechPowerUp — addlink A93 4TB review
TechPowerUp — addlink A93 4TB review

" It is the most energy-efficient drive in the whole test group—more than twice. This high energy-efficiency, plus the big heatsink, makes it easy for the A93 to stay cool. In our thermal stress test we still saw a little bit of thermal throttling, after over 500 GB written without pause. "

PCWorld — addlink S93/A93 SSD review

" The Addlink A93/S93 is a solid-performing PCIe 4.0, DRAM-less NVMe SSD that can save you a few bucks. But the A93 with its heatsink faces heavy competition from many similarly priced and often faster SSDs."

CdrInfo — addlink AddGame A93 4TB review

" The A93 series does promise to have good reading/writing performance levels up to 7.5GB/sec reading and 6.5GB/sec writing, which is more or less what the PS5 gaming console asks for a NVME drive to be able to get used in order to store games."
